RE: Alignment was a student-run LGBTQ themed literary magazine started on the University of Kentucky's campus. It was intended as a space to showcase LGBTQ themed poetry and prose written by students.

I was commissioned to create a cover design that both exemplified the literary theme of the content and the community it showcased. I chose a cover based on visual poetry, poetry that is formatted into pictures and designs as part of the piece. I used a typewriter font to further its literary theme and chose a watercolor background to be hand-applied to each cover. The resulting zines were each unique due to this process. I also created logos inspired by typewriter keys and a rainbow color palette.
